Hi danny,

Basically i have seen Steve Renyard Making the hermit rig and the bailiff down my carp lake is using it. He showed me how it works, but someone made it for him so no use.

Would you be able to tell me a step by step guide of how to make the hermit rig & what items i will need to make it.

Top tips for fishing this rig:

• PVA Bags all the way to avoid tangles
• Slack lines always as a tight line will render the rig useless
• Usually you get a screamer from this rig becasue the fish cannot deal with the pull from the elastic however be ready to hit a few bleeps if you are on a pressured water
